Full Plot Summary
The story unfolds in flashbacks during Shankar's psychological evaluation by Mukti in the present, where he's a grounded Air Force pilot. In college, violent goon Shankar is reformed by psychology student Mukti for her thesis. He falls obsessively in love; she sees him as a project and plans to marry navy officer Jassi.
Enraged, Shankar threatens her friend, crashes her haldi ceremony, his father begs hers and suicides, Shankar burns wedding tents and curses Mukti with Ganga jal. In present, they confront past; Shankar dies heroically as pilot, leaving Mukti broken, fulfilling his curse in tragic obsession.
